COINAGE FOR NEW REIGN
LITTLE CHANGE IN DESIGN LIKELY LONDON, January 13. The King gave an audience to a Mint official regarding the design for the new coinage, which it is hoped will be issued before the Coronation. When the new coins were being prepared for King Edward VIII., he asked for more modern designs, but it is unlikely that the new coinage will be notably different from that of King George V.
