POPULAR FRONTS TO BE AVOIDED
OPINION OF BRITISH LABOUR PARTY LONDON, January 13. The national executive of the Labour party in a statement says that in view of the decisions at conferences in the last year, it is of opinion that the support of party members should be withheld from organisations pursuing united front or popular front activities. The executive claims that the Labour party is the most democratic in British, politics, and that it is the only force by which socialism can be realised here. It urges members {,o support the party in the constituencies, municipalities and Parliament, to enable it to translate the socialist policy into achievement.
