ALLEGED FORGERY OF BANKNOTE
FURTHER REMAND GRANTED (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM .) WELLINGTON, January 14. A labourer and printer, Clifford George Remmers, aged 19, appeared in the Magistrate's Court on remand, charged with forging a document purporting to be a Reserve Bank note for £5. Remmer's solicitor asked for a further remand until January 20. He said ho would then be ready to proceed. The magistrate (Mr J. H. Luxford) granted the request, bail being renewed.
