CLERGYMEN AND PSYCHOLOGY
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir, —I like the advice that George McCormick, of Belfast, gives to Flora A. Smith, of Darfield, this morning, better than that tendered by "Mother of Six," who sees some affront in Miss Smith's letter, where none, I should say. is intended. My opinion of the training of the divinity students is that psychology is badly neglected, and necessarily so; for if the student received a sound training, his church would stand a good chance of losing a promising young budding priest or minister.—Yours, etc., PETER TROLOVE. January 14, 1937.
