MRS W. M. STEWART HONOURED Mrs W M. Stewart (Cashmere Hills), who will leave Christchurch at the end of January for Greymouth, where her husband has been appointed headmaster of the High School, was the guest of honour at a very pleasant party given yesterday afternoon by Mrs W. McKenzie and Miss J. M. Mcintosh The reception rooms at Mrs McKenzie's home on Hackthorne road, where the party was held, were gay with blue and gold flowers. Piano solos were played by Miss Robson, of Wellington, and an amusing competition was won by Mrs S. V. Massey. The guests were Mrs Stewart, Mesdames Leonard Checkley, Selwyn Bruce, Hamilton Mercer, F. W. Gresham, H. E. Perry, L. C. Kernahan, S. V Massey, Norman Scott, H. T. Rosendale, E. C. Levvey, A. W. Hale, O. C. Harley, Mrs and Miss Inwood, Dr. Caroline Stcnhouse, Misses Edna Bruce, J Shaw. F. Evans, A. Evans, W. Rosendale, Robson (Wellington), and Fullerton (Auckland).
