LOW TEMPERATURES IN CALIFORNIA HEAT THREATENS FLORIDA ORCHARDS k (UNITED PEES 3 ASSOCIATION— COPYEIGHT.) (Received January 13, 12.40 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, January 12. Citrus growers to-day continued their battle with below zero temperatures, with the loss already estimated at nearly 10,000,000 dollars. Meanwhile Florida growers are facing huge financial loss from the opposite extreme unless the average temperature of 71 degrees, maintained since Christmas, is broken within 10 days.
