MR RUNCIMAN TO VISIT AMERICA
• (Received January 9, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 8, Mr Walter Runcirnan (President of the Board of Trade) left for New York to-day on a private visit, but it is understood that he proposes to meet Mr Roosevelt, Mr Cordell Hull, and other members of the administration for an exchange of views on questions of common interest.
