PALMER LEAVES FOR NEW ZEALAND (UNITED PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) MELBOURNE, January 8. Ambrose Palmer, light heavy-weight and heavy-weight champion boxer of Australia, sailed for New Zealand in the Marama. He refused several offers to enter the ring again, saying that he intended to make his home in New Zealand, and that he would never fight again.
