SORE HANDS
TO THE EDITOR OK THE PRESS. Sir. —“Housewife’s” sore hands should be a warning to others who trim rose trees. Clean fragments of thorn have become embedded, andfcre unable to work a way out through the hardened skin. These generally cause the “corns,” which no amount of surface cutting or rubbing will cure. I had the same painful experience, and after trying many remedies had them removed by a surgeon.—Yours, etc.. ROSE LOVER. January 7, 1937.
