INCREASE IN SOVIET BUDGET
MILITARY VOTE SHOWS BIG RISE (Received January 8, 12.30 a.m.) MOSCOW, January 7. The Soviet’s budget commission announces the budget for 1937 at* £3,700,000,000, an increase of £570,000,000 on the previous year. Military expenditure is increased by £158,000,000 to £750,000,000.
