NEW BRITISH AMBASSADOR AT SANTIAGO
* (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) RUGBY, December 23. The King has approved the appointment of Mr C. H. Bcntinck, Minister at Prague, to be his Majesty’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary at Santiago, in succession to Sir Robert Michell, who Will shortly retire. Sir Joseph Addison, who was originally selected for this appointrpent, has resigned from the diplomatic service because of ill-health.
