HOSPITAL BOARD ELECTION
MR H. PATERSON TO STAND Mr H. Paterson will be a candidate to represent the Halswell, Heathcote, and Paparua counties on the North Canterbury Hospital Board, in the election to fill the vacancy caused by the recent retirement of Mr A. T. Smith, Mr Paterson represented these districts for many years, but was narrowly defeated by Mr Smith in 1929.
