INCREASE IN WAGES
——♦ ! CHEMICAL WORKERS IN BRITAIN ! (BKITISH OFFICIAL WIRELESS.) . RUGBY, December 22. An advance in wages which will affect about 28,000 chemical workers in various parts of the United Kingdam will take effect on January 4 by an agreement reached between Imperial Chemical Industries and the various trade unions interested. Adult male workers' wages will be increased by ijd an hour, and the rates for piece workers, female and juvenile workers are also being adjusted.
