INCREASE PROBABLE CONTROL OF FOWL WHEAT STATEMENT BY • THE MINISTER Recentlv the United Wheat Growers, fctd., adopted'a resolution recommending the Government to control all wheat, as it was felt that fowl wheat should be brought within the scope of nrice fixation as well as milling wheat The representations of the wheat growers have been considered by the Minister for Industries and Commerce <the Hon. D. G. Sullivan), and it is jmw most likely that the request of fhe producers will be acceded to. Though he would give no definite fadication whether decision had been touted in the matter. Mr Sullivan told a representative of "The Press, yesterday, that a fixation of the price of fowl wheat looked probable. Questioned in regard to the faxing M the milling wheat price for 1937, Mr Sullivan said the matter was still under consideration, but there was indication of an increase.
