AEROPLANE WRECKAGE SEEN FROM AIR
TAVO BELIEVED TO BE DEAD IN IDAHO ACCIDENT (Received December 22, 11.45 p.m.) SALT LAKE CITY, December 22. The wreckage of the aeroplane which was reported on December 19 to have been missing for 24 hours is reported to have been sighted from the air on a mountain ridge in the heart of a forest in Idaho. The crew of two is believed to be dead. A rescue party started on foot through 20 miles of snowcovered wilderness.
