HEAVY INTER-ISLAND TRAFFIC
TWO STEAMER EXPRESSES TO-DAY
Passenger traffic between the two islands Is at present very heavy, some thousands of passengers having travelled during the last week. To-day two steamer expresses will arrive at and depart from Lyttelton and Wellington. The Rangatira is to arrive at Lyttelton this morning and is to sail again shortly after 8 a.m. for Wellington. The Wahine is to arrive at Lyttelton late this afternoon from Wellington, and is to sail again at the usual time to-night Both ships will make similar double trips tomorrow. Thereafter the usual nightly trips will be run, with a special sailing from both ports on Sunday evening.
