ADELAIDE AIR RACE
♦ I PROTEST AGAINST WINNER OF HANDICAP SECTION (Received December 23, 12.15 a.m.) ADELAIDE, December 22. A protest having been lodged against the winner of the handicap section of the centenary air race (C. D. Pratt), the officials have not yet decided who won this section. H. F. Broadbent, one of the competitors, strongly criticises the method of handicapping and declares that some of the pilots were so disgusted that they did not participate in this event, which was conducted in a haphazard fashion.
