THE POUT ADELAIDE

The Port Line's Port Adelaide, loading at Wanganui, is now due at Wellington to-morrow. She will sail on Monday to complete at Picton, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers, and is due at Lyttelton on January 1.

\\ AIKOLAITI'S TRANSHIPMENTS

The Union Company's intercolonial freighter Waikouaili, which left Sydney on Friday Cor South Island ports, brings transhipments ex the Taiping. Otranto, Orungal, Strathaird, Nieuw Holland, Kyokkoh Maru, Esperance Bay. Orford, Temaraire, Oder, Kamo Maru, and Nijkerk, for discharge at Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru. Lyttelton, and Oamaru. She is due at Bluff to-day.

SHIPMENTS OF BASIC SLAG

Following the Ramsey, the steamer Westmoor is to leave Antwerp to-morrow with slag for Auckland and New Plymouth, the Bosworth is to leave Imminjgham on January 1 for Auckland and New Plymouth, and the Ridley is to leave Antwerp on January 25 for Auckland, and possibly Wellington and New Plymouth. The steamers Fernmoor and Brandon are also to bring slag, but their ports or sailing dates have not yet been decided.

PORT OF WESTPORT (THE TRESS Special Service.) WESTPORT, December 21. Te Aroha is expected to leave Wellington to-morrow tor Westport and Little Wanganui, The regular trips between Auckland and Westport of the Westport Coal Company's vessel Canopus wll Ibe discontinued until some time in January. Canopus is meanwhile proceeding from Auckland to Port Chalmers for annual overhaul. Nikau in port discharging general cargo from Wellington to-day, is expected to sail for Nelson to-night. Karligi, part-loaded with coal for Wellington and Napier, sailed early yesterday morning for Greymouth to complete for Wellington. Karepo, trom Greymouth part-loaded, arrived last evening and is completing here with coal and timber for Auckland, sailing to-mororw afternoon. Gabriella arrived from Picton early tliia morning and is part-loading to-day with timber for Sydney, sailing at mianight for Greymouth to complete. Kaimiro. with general cargo, arrived from Auckland this morning. She loads here with coal, timber, and general cargo for Wellington and is due to sail to-mor-row afternoon. Rata is due on December 28 to loadfor Miramar and Wellington. High water at Westport to-morrow 3.45 a.m. and 4.15 p.m. (standard time).
