NOTIFIABLE DISEASES
Eleven cases of notifiable diseases— i one of them being infantile paralysis— ■ have occurred in Canterbury during " the week ended from yesterday, ac- - cording to information received' by the Health Department in Christchurch. Three cases of notifiable ' diseases have been reported from the West Coast. The details are:—Can- I terbury: Scarlet fever 4, pulmonary tuberculosis 3, erysipelas 1. eclampsia < 1, puerperal fever 1, infantile paralysis J L West Coast: Scarlet fever 2 diphtheria 1. There was one death in Canterbury—from tuberculosis.
