SPECIAL TROPHIES AND CUPS LIST OF WINNERS Sir, R. Heaton Rhodes won the chief trophy offered for competition at the recent Royal Show. This is the Walker and Hall challenge shield, valued at £2OO, and presented by the firm xo the Royal Agricultural Society for most points secured in any or all breeds of purbred classes at the Royal Show. The shield is for perpetual competition and was first presented in 1926. This year is the first since then that it has been won by a Canterbury exhibitor. A trophy valued at five guineas is presented annually by Walker and liall, Ltd., to the holder.
