REVIVAL OF GANGSTER METHODS
SHOOTING BY GUNMEN IN CHICAGO (Received December 18, 10.3 p.m.) CHICAGO, December 18, A revival of the gang methods of the prohibition era occurred when three young gunmen separated Thomas Scaduto, aged 25, from a crowd of 15 men in a billiards room, stood him against a wall, and shot him dead with pistols and a shotgun, walked to an automobile, and drove away. The police revealed that a brother, Joseph Scaduto, was killed mysteriously in New York two months ago. The motive was not learned.
