TRAGEDY AT INQUEST
SUICIDES OF FATHER AND DAUGHTER (Received December 18, 9.15 p.m.) BELGRADE, December 18. A thrilling drama was enacted at the inquest on a beautiful girl, a member of one of the most prominent families here, who shot herself on the pavement outside her parents' home because she was jilted. The girl, Mila Dimitriyevitch, aged 21, during a summer holiday met ZvetQzar Stoyanovitch, aged 30, the rich son of a former member of Cabinet, who told her a few minutes before she committed suicide that they must part, Mila's' father, giving evidence at the inquest, whipped out a revolver, fired two shots at Stoyanovitch, and then turned the weapon on himself. The Jover may recover. The father fell dead. The police have placed Stoyanovitch under protective arrest.
