FORTY-ONE MILLIONAIRES LAST YEAR
(Received December 15, 10.30 p.m.) "WASHINGTON, December 15. ft is announced that there were ** persons with million dollar incomes in 1935, compared with 33 in 1934, 20 in 1932, and 513 in 1929. The 41 persons averaged 1,800,000 each, on which they paid an average of 1,010,000 in taxes. The entire income returns for 1935 total 14-656,000,000 dollars, on which 654,000,000 dollars were paid in taxes, representing a 29.1 per cent, over 1934.
