PRISONER RECAPTURED

After escaping from custody yesterday afternoon while on re»^ r .OfJ charge of false pretences, William George Thomas wan recaptured this morning at Balclutha. While in* the exercising yard at the central police station, Thomas escaped by climbing over a back fence.
