INCREASE OF GERMAN FOOD SUPPLIES
* MEASURES UNDER FOUR-YEAR PLAN (Received December 8, 9.30 p.m.) t ' BERLIN. December 8. Herr Vetter, president of the Animal Breeding Association, has announced an intensive programme to make Germany self-sufficient. Under the four-years plan, hens must be better fed to increase the supply of eggs and rabbits must increase their litters. Mulberry trees will be planted to feed silkworms, 700,000 swarms of bees will be added to the present stock, special clover being grown for them, and 1,000,000 goats will be added to increase the milk supply.
