W/’HEREAS the Ellesmere Lands ” Drainage Board intend to submit to the ratepayers of that part of the District described in Schedule hereto a proposal to raise a loan of EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS (£850) to be expended upon the following works namely: A deviation of the Halswell river at Motukarara within the said part of the said District. AND WHEREAS the said Drainage Board has caused to be prepared a Special Roll of the ratepayers in that part of the said District NOW NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that such Special Roll has been deposited for public inspection during the period of seven days from the date hereof and between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the office of the Drainage Board at Lincoln road, Tai Tapu. Any person desiring to object to his name being included on the said Roll on the ground that his property will not be benefited or will be only partially benefited by the expenditure of the proposed loan or on *he ground that the property of any person is wholly or partially omitted from the said Roll must lodge with the Ellesmere Lands Drainage Board an objection in writing setting out fully the grounds of such objection together with his full name and address not later than seven days after the expiration of the said period of seven days such objections to be heard and determined as by the said Act provided. SCHEDULE OF LOAN AREA. : ALL those lands to be known as THE MOTUKARARA SUB-DIVISION as shown and delineated on the plan annexed to the said Special Roll and forming part of Blocks X., XI., XIV., and XV., and part Reserve 959 Halswell Survey District.
