DEFENDANT REMANDED

Robert Whitelaw appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of disobedience of a maintenance order. Sub-Inspector D. A. Mac Lean said that a warrant for the arrest of the defendant had been issued in 1929. If bail were allowed, the police might not be able to find him again.
