APPEARANCE IN MAGISTRATE’S COURT Leslie William Gibbons was charged In the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with breaking and entering the dwelling of Samuel Matthew Wood, 21 Forth street, and committing theft. ChiefDetective W. H. Dunlop said that between £4OO and £SOO had been stolen; he would ask for substantial bail, if bail were allowed. The accused was remanded, and the magistrate, Mr E. C. Lewey, allowed bail on accused’s own recognisance of £SOO, and one surety of £SOO. A condition of bail was that the accused should report daily to the police.
