EARLIER PAYMENT OF PENSIONS
* CHRISTMAS DATE ADVANCED The earlier payment of pensions normally due in the last few days of the month has been decided upon by the Pensions Department for next month, and the date in December on which the monthly payments of most pensions will begin has been advanced by a few days to December 21. This decision of the department affects all except Australian war pensions and Imperial pensions which are normally paid advance, and payments which usually fall due between the twenty-third of the month and the end will be made on December 21.
