ANIMAL CIRCUS

♦ NOVEL SHOW' ATTRACTION The baby monkey, who was a sensation at Kay’s, Ltd.’s, this time has a keen rival for the public interest in Tiny, the Marmoset, the smallest monkey ever seen in the Dominion, They arc the stars of Madame Karnes’ MonSpeedway, an entertainment that the children will never forget, .which will be presented at the Christchurch Show to-day. The entertainment would not be complete without Teddy, the dog whose act, which taxes all the sagacity he possesses, is well worth the price of admission alone. The monkeys and the clever dog make a particular appeal to children. The speedway drivers comprise a number of larger monkeys who operate their own miniature motor-cars as capably as many users of the betterknown highways. Madame Karnos has also been fortunate to secure the “Baffling Bryants,” who will- supply the vaudeville part of the programme for adults. These artists have just concluded a contract with one of the Christchurch theatres. Mr Bryant, a famous illusionist, will present the “Million Dollar” mystery, which is quite new to New Zealand.
