An important wool textile merger is announced. Salts, Saltaire, Ltd., has purchased the share capital of the Pepper Lee Company, Ltd., the Wike Mills Company, Ltd., and of Popplewell and Ingram. The business will be run as previously. The fusion is expected to avoid overlapping, and doubtless will result in considerable economies.
