LONDON, October 7.
According to a Danzig message Herr Arthur Greiser, Nazi president of the Senate, has sent a note to Geneva protesting against the league council’s decision, to entrust Poland with the responsibility for solving the problems of Danzig, which, he complains, was made in the absence of the Danzig delegation, and was therefore one-sided. The “Vorposten,” the Nazis Danzig organ, accuses the council of impoliteness, saying: “We are not Kaffirs, but the Government of a sovereign state.” It ignores the fact that Herr Greiser refused ua advance to send a representative to correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that Hot Greiser’s policy is undoubtedly inspired by the German Foreign Office, because it is no secret tnai Danzig is administered and controlled from Berlin. The “Borsen Zeitung describes the council’s, decision as a disguised attempt to disturb the good relations between Germany and Poland, ine only result will be to remove m German eyes the last vestige of belief in the league’s ability to reform itself,” says the newspaper.
