Croft, 101, 26 —75. „ ' RUSSLEY LADIES’ CLUB The two-round eclectic match played at Russlcy was won by Miss E. Stewart In the senior division and Mrs C. H. Clemens in the Junior division. The following were the best scores;— Seniors—Miss Stewart, 83 gross, 14 handicap, 69 net; Mrs Templln, 82, 17—76. Juniors—Mrs C. Clemens, 102, 34—68; Miss R. Berry, 108. 38—70. ■ In the knock-out foursomes final Miss M. dreig and Miss N. Smithson, who received five strokes, beat Mrs G- H. Walton and Miss E. Maofarlane, 2 and 1. B. L. Smith 94, 15—79, Mrs Layton and Mrs LoVell 107, 20 —87, Mrs Large .and Mrs Mlnson 107, 18—89. AKAROA CLUB In the final of the women’s senior championship of the Akaroa Golf Club, Miss M. Jacobson defeated Miss E.’ Jacobson over 30 holes. . Playing in the final of the Womens junior championship, over 36 holes. Miss Stephanie Armstrong beat Miss E. White. In the final of the men’s junior championship, R. R. McKenzie beat P. G. Riches over 36 holes. ELLESMERE CLUB’S OPEN DAY On the Ellesmere links there will be an open day on Tuesday, October 13. Stroke rounds, senior and junior, will be played morning and afternoon. There will also be a teams’ match, and a putting competition. /
