ANNUAL REUNION

At the annual reunion of the Marshland Amateur Sports Clu* there was a ; large attendance, including visitors from Dunedin. Waimate and other centres. The president (Mr R. H Monk) was in the Chair, and the club s patron, Mr C. Morgan Williams, M.P., was among the guests. Toasts were proposed' as follows: “Marshland Sports Club,” coupled with the names of Messrs R. KL Kennett ana W Waugh proposed* by the president; “Agricultural interests,” with name of Mr H, Ashton, pronosed by Mr J. G. Armstrong; “New Zealand Parliament, , proposed by Mr W. Waugh and replied to by Mr ' Williams; “Marshland Football Club,” proposed by Mr H. B. Hibband-and replied to by Messrs Brittain and J. K Moloney; Christchurch Centre, Amateur Athletic Association,” proposed, by MfC. Walter ahd replied to by Messrs H. Hill and. Moloney; “Kindred Societies,” proposed by Mr 1 R.
