DAMAGED AIR-MAIL The Chief Postmaster, Christchurch, reports that advice has been received from Delhi, India, that when the Imperial Airways aeroplane Athena caught fire at Delhi on September 29 there were 10 bags for New Zealand out of 12 salvaged, and they were sent by relief aeroplane on September 30. The mails concerned were probably dispatched from London on September 24.
