OUTBREAK AT MENTAL HOSPITAL An outbreak of fire, which was extinguished before it had gained a Strong hold, occurred last eyeningat the Sunnyside Mental Hospital. Th« call was received at the central fire station shortly after t o'clock, we only damage was to the frame of a window in P ward.
SYDENHAM HOUSE SLIGHTLY DAMAGED V Fire, started by a painter's blow torch, slightly damaged a house owned by Mrs Mary Cashmere at 2 Jo m street, Sydenham* yesterday morning. The damage was confined to the wall of one bedroom, prompt work by the brigade from the Sydenham station preventing the outbreak from spreading. ■ ■ - '
