TO THE EDITOR Of THE PRESS. «ii r> —Once more the residents'of a suburb of Christchurch are greatly perturbed at what appears to be the machinations of a dog poisoner /in their midst. This time the sphere of operations is North Beach, where some valuable pets have recently been laid low by this despicable method ot aestruction. It is sincerely hoped .that the police will exercise extra vigi.ance m an effort to bring tq book the person or persons responsible for this foul method of exercising revenge upon dumb pets who are unable to defend themselves against such attacks.
