CHARITY CONCERT
NATIONAL BROADCASTING SERVICE Tremendously keen interest is being shown in the big charity concert arranged by the National Broadcasting Service, for the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund. It will be presented m the Civic Theatre next Wednesday The programme, which includes the names of many noted artists such as Senor Chostiakoff, Dora Lindsay. Dave Howard, Freddy Gholmondeley, and Eileen Boyd, was presented to an enthusiastic Auckland public recently, and created great ’enthusiasm. As it promises to be an excellent ■entertainment, with much fun and delightful humour sprinkled throughout, it is advisable to book seats early. Plans open to-day’ at the D J.C. box office.
