TWELVE ROUND BOUT ACCEPTED
PALMER MAY NOW MEET ROSENBLOOM
■ (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY, August 20. The National Boxing Club has agreed to the 12-round bout stipulated by Am-, brose Palmer for his fight with Max Rosenbloom, provided he will accept a much lower guarantee than £1250.. Palmer’s answer is now awaited.
[Ambrose Palmer stipulated that his fight with Max Rosenbloom should be limited to 12 rounds. Mr Jack Munro, manager of the Sydney Stadium, telegraphed to Palmer in Melbourne, indicating that a 12-round bout was not acceptable to the press or the public, and advising Palmer to agree to 15 rounds, otherwise Rosenbloom would sail for America. Palnler. however, replied that he would not box-more tftxan 12 rounds in any contest.] '
