HOBBIES EXHIBITION
.Readers of “The Press Junior” and “The Gay Gazette” haye been banded into committees to work for-the Hobby ci-jjft Exhibition * and pet show which will be held in ‘*T2ic Press” building on Thursday and Friday, September s and 4. Arrangements are now well in band; judges are being appointed and plans .are beihg made to house all the exhibits, and pets bn the days appointed. All exhibits .will have to be sent to the offices of “The Press Junior” and. ‘The Press Ship” by Monday, .August .31, or Tuesday, September 1. We do not want any entries tor any of the competitions befofethat tuna.
Pen-Friends 4 Section The committee in charge of the Pen-friends’ Section (three Shipmates) would be glad if girls and boys who. are corresponding with overseas friends would' place letters and any curios or photographs they have received on exhibit in the Hobbies Exhibition. There are prizes for the best arranged exhibits in this -section, and a special trophy for the most outstanding exhibit. ‘ The committee would like to state that, as this is one. of the most important sections, fin the Exhibition, every member interested should co-operatev.
