There are some instances in which the name inscribed upon a stamp provides no clear indication of the country of origin, because the letters are of an alphabet unfamiliar to English readers. This class, though, is not 6 very large one and fortunately in the majority of Stamps, the name is of assistance. Last Week's issues are unlikely to present any trouble, but there are cases where, although the name appears with the same letters as the English alphabet, the inscription needs interpretation.
