OUTBREAK OF FIRE IN CITY PREMISES
-—— SLIGHT STRUCTURAL DAMAGE CAUSED Structural damage to the ceiling and rear portion of one of four rooms on the first floor of Manning's Buildings, 190 Cashel street, occupied by Charles Fearn, a commission agent, was caused by fire about 10.30 last evening. There were very little contents in the rooms, and small damage was done to these. Slight damage was also done to another room in the same building. The alarm was given at the station by a motor-cyclist who noticed the fire when passing the building. There were no insurances on the contents of the rooms occupied by Fearn, and the insurances on the buildings were not obtainable last evening. No cause could be given for .the outbreak, which fortunately had hot gained a strong hold when the brigade arrived.
