REPRESENTATION DESIRED BY TRAMWAY BOARD

A further effort is to be made by the Christchurch Tramway Board to secure representation on the Canterbury committee for the celebration of the centenary of New Zealand. At a meeting of the board on Saturday a letter was received from the City Council stating that as the committee had been constituted, with a definite proportion of town and country members, it was regretted that no additions could be made. 1 Mr R.
