♦- NICHOL OUTPOINTS DE GAINS (PBBSS ASSOCIATION TULBOBAII. i INVERCARGILL, August 10. In a return 15-round boxing contest to-night between Claude Nichol (12st 101b), of Australia, and Roy de Gains (12st 101b), an American negro, Nichol was awarded the decision on points. It was a poor fight except for the last three rounds, which were fought at a lively pace.
