FOUR DAYS’ TRIAL EXPECTED
♦ SUPREME COURT AT NEW PLYMOUTH (PaBSS ASSOCIATION TECEOBAM.,' NEW PLYMOUTH. August 10. The Supreme Court sessions opened to-day, Mr Justice Ostler presiding. O£ the three bills of indictment presented two related to charges against motorists, alleging negligence causing death. A true bill was returned against Samuel Edward George Hawke, charged with negligently driving a motor-truck so as to cause the death of a motor-cyclist. After the jury \vas empanelled the Crown asked that it be kept together for the four days’ the trial is expected to last.
