SUBSIDY FOR TRAMP SHIPPING
JAPANESE PLANS
LONDON. July 3. The Tokyo correspondent of ‘"fhe Times” says that tramp shipping subsidies, including the opening of the routes between Western Australia and West Africa, were among the plans for the encouragement of Japanese shipping, which the Ministry for Commerce proposed when the Cabinet began its examination of plans for administrative renovation and reform which the Prime Minister (Mr Hirota) promised when he assumed office.
