* ADDRESSES BY MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT Addresses on the importance and effect of tho legislation passed during the first portion of the present session were given at a meeting of the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee on Thursday evening by Messrs E. J. Howard, Morgan Williams, and T. H. McCombs, members of Parliament. Among the subjects dealt with bfr the speakers were the Reserve Bank Amendment Act, the Railways Amendment Act, Employment Promotion Act, Factories Amendment. State Advances Corporation, Broadcasting Amendment. and Primary Products Marketing Act. At the conclusion of the addresses a resolution congratulating the Government on its legislative achievements and expressing confidence in the Labour party was enthusiastically carried.
