SUMNER BEACH IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE EPITOB OF THE PRESS. Sir,—l notice that the Sumner Borough Council proposes to spend about £15,000 on beach improvements. If the council has that amount or money to spend. I suggest it would be more to its credit to improve the back area of the borough, and provide the residents with proper footpaths instead of clay banks, and an adequate system of channelling to carry oa storm-water.-y B u^ A efc pAyER .
