WILL RESIGN FROM HARBOUR BOARD

INTENTION

WELLINGTON, June 16.
The Minister for Labour (the Hon. H. T. Armstrong) has found thi; pressure of his Ministerial duties as heavy that he has decided to resign his seat on the Lyttelton Harbour Board. He has been a member el the board since 1921.
“Much as I regret it, I have found it is almost impossible to attend meetings of. the board,” said Mr Armstrong, when announcing" hj» decision. “I would be able to attend only occasionally in any case, and I feel that it would not be ju* to the people of Christchurch wjy elected me to do that. I have d®* nitely made up my mind to tawtf my resignation to the next meeting of the board.” . .
