CONTESTING ALL SEATS

LABOUR AND TRAMWAYS BOARD ELECTION

The nine seats on the Christchurch Tramways Board will be contested in the interests of Labour when the election is held on November 26. This decision was made by a meeting of the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee last night. The meeting over which Mr J. Roberts presided, agreed that the party should contest the six central seats, and the AvonNew Brighton, Riccarton-Fendalton, and Heathcote seats.
